Printing and using these

Print settings

US Letter, single sided, "fit to page" off so the margins stay true. Black and white is fine — every sheet is designed to work without colour ink.

Pick, don't march

These aren't a workbook to complete in order. Choose the two or three that suit your learner today. A page a week beats a pack in one sitting.

Talk more than you correct

The answer key is at the back for you, not for marking. "How did you work that out?" teaches more than a tick ever will.

A note on the water activities: the sorting pages are about clean and not-clean water, not about what's safe to drink. Children should always ask a grown-up before drinking any water.

What you can do with these

Short version: use them with your own children or your own class, freely. Don't sell them.

Yes, please

  • Print as many copies as your family needs
  • Use them in your homeschool
  • Use them with your own class
  • Print them for a co-op session you're running

Please don't

  • Resell them in any form
  • Upload them to a file-sharing or resource site
  • Include them in another product
  • Share them school-wide without a licence

Need something broader — several classrooms, a whole school, a district? Just ask. We're reasonable about this.

The Tiny Travelers

Big adventures through the science inside us

What if the smallest parts of our world could tell the biggest stories? The Tiny Travelers is an illustrated children’s book series that transforms science into warm, imaginative adventures. Alongside Luna, a curious young explorer children journey through the human body, the natural world, and even the stars. Created by author Glenis Graham and published by Echelon Nexus Press, each book combines storytelling, science, art, and hands-on discovery to help children understand that they are connected to something extraordinary.

Meet Luna

Luna is curious, observant, and always ready to ask one more question.

When an ordinary moment sparks her imagination, a tiny guide appears and takes her on an unforgettable journey. Together, they travel through places too small, too distant, or too ancient to explore on their own.

Luna’s questions lead the way, and young readers are invited to investigate alongside her.

Every adventure encourages children to wonder:

Book One: The Star Inside My Blood

A tiny iron atom named Fe takes Luna on an astonishing journey through her blood, her food, the Earth, and the stars.

Through this imaginative adventure, children discover how iron helps the body, where it comes from, and how some of the atoms inside us were formed through ancient cosmic processes.

The book includes: A fully illustrated science adventure An Explorer Lab filled with guided activities Coloring and drawing pages Tiny Traveler journal prompts A child-friendly glossary A completion certificate Notes and guidance for grown-ups

Book Two: The Ocean Inside My Tears

A single tear opens the door to an around-the-world water adventure.

With Dew, a playful water-molecule guide, Luna follows the water in her tears through her body, food, rivers, soil, clouds, rain, and the ocean. Along the way, she discovers how water moves through Earth’s living systems—and why the atoms in water have a history much older than she imagined.

The Ocean Inside My Tears explores the water cycle, the protective role of tears, and the remarkable connections between our bodies and our planet.

Coming next in The Tiny Travelers series.

Book Three: The Sunshine Inside My Breakfast

How does sunshine become part of the food on our plates?

Luna’s next adventure explores how plants capture energy from sunlight, how that energy travels through food, and how breakfast helps power a growing body.

The Sunshine Inside My Breakfast is currently in development.
