Terms of Service
These terms cover how you can use this website and the free resources we give away. By using colorverseapp.com you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.
Who we are
colorverseapp.com is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], publisher of ColorVerse and Echelon Nexus Press titles. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
Our free resources
We give away printable activity packs, samplers, and guides that accompany our books. The Tiny Traveler Activity Pack is not sold separately — it comes free with The Star Inside My Blood, using the reader access code printed inside every copy. A shorter sampler is available to anyone.
What you may do with them
Yes
- Print as many copies as you need for your own family
- Use them in your homeschool
- Use them with your own class
- Print them for a co-op session you’re running
No
- Resell them, in any form
- Upload them to a file-sharing site or resource library
- Include them in another product, paid or free
- Share them school-wide or district-wide without a licence
- Remove our branding or claim them as your own
The licence is personal, homeschool, or single-classroom use. If you need something broader — several classrooms, a whole school, a district, or a paid course — email [CONTACT EMAIL] and we’ll sort out a licence. We’re reasonable about this.
Reader access codes
The access code printed in each book is a courtesy for our readers. Please don’t publish it, post it in groups, or share it with people who haven’t bought the book. It isn’t a security system — it’s an honour system, and it only keeps working if people treat it that way. We may change codes for future printings.
Educational content, not professional advice
Our books and resources are for education and entertainment. They introduce science ideas to young readers in simplified form.
Anything we publish about iron, food, blood, oxygen, nutrition, or the human body is introductory educational content. It is not medical, dietary, diagnostic, or treatment advice. Don’t use it to make decisions about anyone’s health.
If you have a question about a child’s health, nutrition, or development, speak to a qualified healthcare professional.
About the storytelling
Our books use personification and representative journeys to explain real science. Fe, the iron atom in The Star Inside My Blood, is a character with a face and a personality — those are storytelling devices. The journey Fe describes reflects established science, but no individual atom’s actual history can be traced. We say so inside the book too, because we’d rather children learn the difference than absorb a misconception.
Intellectual property
Everything on this site — text, illustrations, characters, activity pages, book content, and the ColorVerse and Echelon Nexus Press names — belongs to us or is used with permission. Our characters and titles are our property.
You may quote short passages for reviews, teaching, or commentary with attribution. You may not reproduce whole works, create derivative products for sale, or use our characters commercially without written permission.
Amazon affiliate links
We participate in the Amazon Associates Program. Some links on this site go to Amazon, and we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through them. This costs you nothing extra and doesn’t change what we recommend — we’re linking to our own books.
Purchases happen on Amazon, under Amazon’s terms. Delivery, returns, refunds, and customer service for books bought there are handled by Amazon, not by us.
Emails
If you give us your email address, we’ll send you what you asked for. If you tick the consent box, we’ll also send occasional emails about new resources and books. You can unsubscribe from any email, at any time, using the link at the bottom. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
Using the site sensibly
Please don’t attempt to break into the site, scrape it at volume, interfere with other people’s use of it, upload anything malicious, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access if you do.
Things we can’t promise
We provide this site and its resources “as is”. We try to keep everything accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every fact will be perfect. If you spot a mistake, please tell us — we’d genuinely like to fix it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or our free resources. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link elsewhere. We’re not responsible for other people’s websites, their content, or their privacy practices.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE], United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY, STATE].
If you’re a consumer in the UK, EU, or elsewhere with mandatory local consumer protections, nothing here removes rights you have under the law of your own country.
